Grant offers personalised tuition on all aspects of photography and videography. Not just on his workshops or tours but also through one on one coaching, in person or over Skype/Zoom/Facetime with screen sharing.

All private sessions are planned with you in advanced and are tailored to your exact needs. The following information is an idea of what you may want to discuss:

Comprehensive tutoring on photography techniques from the very basic to the very advanced. Grant runs photography workshops through out the year to a variety of unique destinations and loves sharing his knowledge with others.

Post processing - Using programmes such as Lightroom,  Photoshop and Final Cut Pro to get the most out of your images. Grant can help advise you on your entire workflow process, from snapping pictures to importing, processing and uploading.

Advise on equipment and future purchases. Being an underwater photographer can be tough on the luggage allowance as it’s extremely equipment orientated. Grant can share with you his years of experience of working with a range of camera equipment, both above the water and below.

Selecting your top images for printing, publishing, magazine editorials and photography competitions. Grant has picked up a number of international awards for his images, including being named British underwater photographer of the year in 2018.

Career development, raising your profile and building a social media following. Marketing yourself is key! Grant can share his professional knowledge of the industry, advising on how to work with magazines, ground operators, agencies, sponsors, brands and much more. There are many great photographers in the world but getting paid for your work is another ball game entirely.

Grant charges an hourly rate of £60 for private tuition and bookings of 3  hours or more will be discounted (please get in touch for details). There are limited spaces available every week so get in touch soon via email or the contact form.
